Tara Donovan is an installation artist. Her sculptures are made with everyday use materials, such as plastic cups, pencils, coffee filters, straws, etc. Donovan uses in every installation thousands, and sometimes millions, of a single material to create interesting compositions. It is only when looking up close at her work when the material used can be identified.

Richard Sweeney creates complicated pieces that have architectural and geometric influences. Paper is Sweeney’s principal material for the construction of his pieces. According to the artist, paper is a readily available material that can be easily manipulated by hand. Richard Sweeney pushes the material (paper) in many different ways creating very interesting shapes.

Noble and Wester are two artists who work mostly with trash and things that are notof much use for others. some of their most famous pieces are piles of trash that with the play of lights create interesting shadows of human figures. Noble and Wesbster also use light as a vehicle for their work. They have created several pieces in which they use light bulbs of different colors for the compositions.

Jen Stark uses paper as the main material to create her work. The simplicity of the material and the richness of color in her pieces make her work very interesting. Stark designs every single piece and then she cut every layer of the piece by hand.

Nir Adar is a chef, food stylist, and artist. Adar’s work is all about food and the many different ways in which it can be presented. Adar’s pieces are very interesting because some of his pieces address things that affect society, such as obesity and over eating. Adar not only makes food sculptures but he also uses video installations about food that show the color of food and the beauty of it.
